BlueMoondog said: Very slow... We had a hot dry summer and not a lot of growth actually happened. Some of the roots started to go a little spongy as well. I'm still figuring if this is from too much water or not enough. As well I think it is still recovering from the heavy prune I gave it.
Seedlings are coming along, a few died out but the ones that have survived are starting to plump up a bit.

Spongy could be dehydration but at least not a rot. I have a few that seem to have a hard time adjusting and I cannot give it too much water because it might rot. So I try to just be patient and let the small feeder roots develop. Usually it seem to

Do keep us posted! Good save on the old desert rose.

@BlueMoondog hope your desert rose and seedlings made it through your winter. I think it is getting summer weather there. Would love to see updated pics of the Mom and babies that you saved.

Adeniums
The old girl is making a bit more progress. The trunk is firming up after being dehydrated and as you can see some more foliage. It doesn't look like there will be any flowers this season though. On the left is the cutting I took off while pruning a while back and it is coming along nicely as well.

Thank You! for the update. It is good to see the whole family is doing well! They all look healthy, nice shiny leaves! Seedlings are all plump and would most likely benefit being transferred to their individual clay pots.

Hopefully since you still have a few more weeks of warm season, you will still see the momma plant and the cuttings bloom this year.

I kept my adenium in a partially shaded position this last summer and it seemed to do a bit better as opposed to the direct sunlight.
I was also lucky enough to get a few blooms as well. I now have half a dozen huge seed pods growing.
I have decided not to transplant the seedlings until next spring because I did not want to disturb the roots coming into winter and give them a better chance of surviving the cold nights.

@BlueMoonDog, that is looking great! Your desert rose might not be an ordinary obesum. Based on the shape of the leaves and hard to tell from the flower but if you could take a close photo of the bloom, you might have a multiflorum.
