Excellent banner & pretty blooms! Smiling

It looks tropical, but is more alpine. I thought it might be European,
but it's North American. Rolling my eyes.

See this very interesting Wiki article.
about this very interesting plant.
It even has a mountain range named after it. Blinking

A (rare?) beauty, but relatively inexpensive.

Best article on how to grow.

Thanks Stefan for sharing this very interesting & rewarding plant. Thumbs up

Pretty flowers, Stefan! Looks like it made a great banner---(but I missed it!).
