Thread OP

Hello everyone,

New to the forum. I'm in Southern California. Planted an early girl tomato about 4 weeks ago. And started getting this little annoying Miskito looking tiny flies. The local nursery man said they're knats. But couldn't identify this little bugs that started appearing a few hours after putting a layer of sand on the pots dirt. Does anyone here know what they might be?

Thank you.

They are those weird alien bugs Khan Noonien Singh from Star Trek used to gain mental control over his victims, obviously. Only Captain James T. Kirk can save us.

Joking aside I think they are just antlions.
I am just another white boy who thinks he can play the Blues.
