Do we have a live chat on ATPs? If not I think it would be a fun thing.

I don't quite understand the advantage that this would offer. Could someone fill me in, please?

Chelle, it can be a fun thing. It's not like a separate thread in a particular forum. Rather, probably a specific time, say 8 p.m. on Monday, in it's own special area. Anybody can join in at any time. It's more like a conversation IN REAL TIME. You might comment, I add my comment immediately, Marilyn joins in, then Teresa might correct what I've said, and woofie adds her two cents. It's everyone participating in real time that makes it unique and fun.

In terms of real time, kind of like the acorn fight went.

That might be fun as an occasional fun thing to play with. I don't think we'd ever want to have it as a regularly scheduled thing but from time to time it could be fun.

I think a chat is a stellar idea. You could give it a try and see how it goes. (Though I think several tries would give a better idea of true interest and participation).

I am a member of a live daylily chat. www.hemchat.com it is fun to speak to others about plants that are very knowledgeable. I have learned a lot, several are hybridizers. We also get into personal interest such as recipes,
sports etc.
