Sounds like a lot of fun!!! I hope you had a great time! I always take a ton of plant pics when I'm in FL too, or really anywhere where there are plants.
Any time you have any uncertainty about the ID, you can put them on Plant ID and usually secure the ID, if the pictures are clear and show enough features for ID. You probably already know, but it's much less confusing if that is done using just 1 plant per discussion. Not every pic is a keeper.
