Anyone know how big the flowers are. The plants are dwarf 12" x 12". The pack says multiple large flowers, but doesn't mention how big

This was an experiment. I wasn't sure if Sunflowers bloom after X number of days after germination or if they were one of those that are affected by the days getting long or shorter. It appears it is simply X number of days after germination

Hurray! Looks like it is going to be a beauty, I see multiple flower buds forming on each plant. The bloom isn't fully open, but suspect it will be by end of day

Joanne, can these be started in small packs then transplanted to larger containers as they grow? I've never grown sunflowers, but DH and a friend both love the darn things. Smiling

Sure they can. I started them in 8oz plastic cups, but you could start them in anything that is 2" or deeper
