OK, another mini parade going on. Have some new roses finally blooming, fiddled with my camera to see if I could get a better "true-to-color" shot, etc. So let's begin alphabetically again.

Blueberry Hill is a wonderful small bush for me... it's giving me 1-2 blooms every week, but I *really* need to see about finding the time/money (more time than money.. mulch is cheap) to get the weeds under control!! I'm thinking that the weekend of the 10th I should be able to do SOMETHING about the weeds.. I've tried to weed directly around every rose bush's vicinity but the grass keeps growing faster than I can pull it. Bad thing is that, for 4 years, I couldn't grow grass to save my life. Now it's taking over the back yard!!

This is the BlueGirl that survived my past winter with almost zero winterkill on the canes. I did mulch about a foot deep around the base to make sure she survived, and she's been blooming steadily now for almost 2 weeks.

I did the fiddling with the camera for this shot, so it's a longer exposure. But true-to-color.

Circus isn't liking the heat.. she's faded out.

This was a big mystery for me.. I knew that I'd gotten this one from RU last year, I had a tag on it, but the tag got destroyed, so I wasn't able to figure out who she was. After finding my invoice, I figured it out.

I'd like to introduce Clare de Lune. True-to-color.

I didn't get as true-to-color shot this time, but you can see the Home Depot flag I put next to the plant so I wouldn't lose it when I was uncovering the mulch. You can see just how pathetic the actual bush is.

Now for great disappointment. Ebb Tide. I'm so saddened by this. NOT what I wanted, NOT where I wanted.. nothing. Do you think that Weeks would send me a real Ebb Tide if I sent this to them?

Enchanted Evening is still so short, but it is blooming nicely. What can I give my roses to encourage leaf growth?

Heirloom is one of my favorites. Seriously, in the top 15.

Heirloom has grown quite a bit this year, so I'm happy.

Now if I could only get Intrigue to start to grow, I'd be happy too! True-to-color. The purple flowers around it are some asters I need to put into the ground ASAP.

JFK. I was told this wouldn't grow here. .it's too cold to grow JFK in Colorado. Well, this is an '08 plant. From Walmart, of all places.

I can never get a good clear shot of the plant with the blooms.. the blooms are always blotchy white blobs.

Now to get the white spots out of your eyes, how about a Joseph's Coat?

Lagerfeld.. oh how do I love thee? Allow me to count the ways in your petals... now if you would only last longer in a vase, I'd be even happier!!

Now Montezuma.. weird weird rose. It got squished by the tree going down and hasn't recovered. Now, with the 3rd installment of my parade, I stated that the one rose was Montezuma. Actually, when I found the tag (I *REALLY* need to order those nice tags!!), it was Kordes Perfecta. So, this truly is Montezuma, true-to-color.
