*sigh* Oh Moonstone, you're such a sweet little rose... your bloom is bigger than your entire plant. Seriously. You have 11 small leaves and you're holding up a 4" bloom.

DH is very happy with this rose that he picked out. Here's Oktoberfest. But it's not as orange as it should be.

Oktoberfest is a nice-sized plant.. I'm nicely happy with it. But I'm not nicely happy with all the stinking weeds everywhere!!!!!

I took this shot (and cropped the crap out of it) as it shows 1) all the different colors of Outta the Blue and 2) how many blooms an unwatered, unfed, uncared-for Weeks Rose can produce. I *love* Weeks Roses!! Seriously. They classify it as a shrub. They should classify it as a blooming idiot. Why it's not called a floribunda I don't know.

Yes yes yes, I know, I will be chewed out by everyone for not dead-heading. That's usually an evening chore for me when I get home from work, but this past week, with dealing with losing one co-worker (my office only has 4 people in it, including the boss), the boss being in town and driving me totally bat-snot crazy, my other co-worker working his tail off to keep up w/all the work, the company possibly being sold any day now, and then with DH destroying the car (got an estimate of repairs last night from the repair company - they're already stating $8000 in damages to a $9000 car)... not to mention the MOSQUITOS.. holy schnikey batman, we've had MAJOR skeeter problems!! DAMN! Actually, I can count at least 12 bites on my arms as we speak and I know that DH has at least 15 on the backs of his knees (he wore shorts, I wear jeans).

Anyways, here's Purple Heart. Nice HD rose, dontcha think?

One of Burlington's Roses, Ring of Fire, is finally blooming! And I love it.. I honestly do.

And one of "John's Miniature Roses" (offshoot of Heirloom) is blooming: Rise -n- Shine.

Another one from that company, Rosy Dawn, is also blooming. True-to-Color. Now only if these badboys weren't so damned close to the ground! I have to get onto my knees to sniff.. they're too low!!!

I think only 3-4 of my Sterling Silvers are blooming out of the dozen I bought. They're still adjusting and it's been murder with the heat.

Tequila Sunset (Sunrise, sun-something-or-another). True-to-color.

Vista. Beautiful tiny rose. I should order more like this one. I love it & Winter Magic.

Wildfire. Name describes is perfectly. True-to-color.

And, last but not least, a yellow hybrid tea NOID. Smells wonderful, big blooms, not too bad with thorns. I know it's not Golden Masterpiece as my GM doesn't turn apricot when it fades, it turns white. I would have sworn this had "Prince" or "Princess" in the name, like HMF's "Garden Princess", but there's not much information given on that rose. Golden Princess is definitely not it, as neither is Princess Alice.

I can just call it Garden Princess, though, can't I?

Wonderful parade! I love the color of Vista, is it really that lovely?

PPal - That is 100% true-to-color. I love it. It has a silvery sheen on the folds and I can just sink into that depth of purple. Kind of like a warm blanket. I don't have a big sized rose with that same exact purple/silver.

Your fake Ebb Tide is so gorgeous, Toni! It reminds me of Vintage Visalia, which looks just like a dahlia when it blooms.

Montezuma will straighten up in time, I'm sure. It's a nice upright rose.

I love your Garden Princess. Could it be Crown Princess Margareta? Not if it's a hybrid tea, I guess, but CPM puts out some blooms that look like that.

Zuzu - Pics on HMF are no where near close as far as shape. Color's right, though. Plus CPM has shiny light green leaves, my mystery is more of a darker leathery green.

I didn't sniff Ebb Tide to see if it has a scent. The ground's too far away from my nose today. Unless I fall flat on my butt again, which I try not to do too often.

Could it be Golden Unicorn? Unicorn = fairy tales = princess. Just trying to follow logical thought processes here.
