A Minimalist Approach to Growing Roses

By Porkpal

I have found that the secret to growing roses, with very little time and effort devoted to the process, is to choose the right roses.

I really love the sentiments of the Rose Minimalist. That is the way I have tended to grow roses from the
beginning! I am currently growing 4 rose bushes in containers and that is after having a garden that included
over 50 varieties of roses in my gardens at the Meyerwood House which we gave up after Hurricane Harvey.
I now have the following roses in 1/2 whiskey barrel containers 1. 'Gruss an Aachen 2. 'Hermosa' 3. 'Marie
Daly' and 4. Rosa chinensis minima 'Roulettii' The one that is blooming right now is the polyantha 'Marie Daly'

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.
