There is a new semp coming from Chick Charms. Thank you Nathaniel for this post:

A quote from Chris Hansen:
Chris Hansen
Włodzisław Barcikowski no, very different from Saxon. Much better and larger grower than Saxon and much darker pink color.

A comment from the staff at Chick Charms, answering the question "is it different from 'Citrus Sunrise'.
"Chick Charms - Collectable Hens & Chicks
Citrus Sunshine has yellow-cream variegation and was a poor grower. We've discontinued Citrus Sunshine production. Lotus Blossom has bright white variegation and is a MUCH stronger grower!".

I'm still very interested to see them side by side. Cream vs White seems like marketing terms to make an appearance of a difference.

Well, we'll only be able to see it if we either compare it side to side or just get the other and compare photos. That would be hard to do for photos, becuase depending on the lighting the cream or whitecould show up differently than it is in real life.

When I think of white I think of blaring white, so it's like a more "cold" color. Not the warm creamy color. One way to think about this is christmas lights.
When I walk Max during christmas, many of the neighbors have lights. Most have the common "cream" colored ones, which look very cozy yet bright. Other have white lights, which tend to look "cold" and bright.

I'd say the difference could be like parchment or old paper vs. new printer paper

Here is some side-by-side comparison of all 3 sports of Rocknoll Rosette. Lotus Blossom was a new chick this year but is already about the same size as the other two. I plan on keeping all of them together and seeing how they look as they grow together. The other semp in the post is a noid so I can keep the pot oriented correctly.

1. Brillante
2. Citrus Sunrise
3. Lotus Blossom

It will be interesting to watch them as they come into full growth. Thank you for posting this Nathaniel.

I wonder if this variegation reverts easily? Are these semps as tolerant of good sun and freezing temperatures?

They are pretty stable, not really unstable. It can revert but not too common

Evan, these have been tested in MI for hardiness, they have been grown outside to test them. Yes, they are cold hardy. They are also grown in Chris' rock gardens exposed to summer heat.
When I was at the facility last October, I did not see a single reversion our of thousands of plants.

@Aeonium2003, I have not noticed any revision on Brillante or Citrus Sunrise. Brillante is pickier about its growing conditions than others. It took me a few tries to keep it around. I have never had issues with Citrus Sunrise, however, I know others have. As for Lotus Blossom, it is new this year so I will have to let you know next year how it does.

Citrus Sunrise seems to be the one that will sometimes revert.

Growers will (and SHOULD) remove reverted offsets as they may over-grow the variegted ones.

@sedumzz I have about 50 rosettes of Citrus Sunrise currently and I have never noticed any reversion. Mine have come from 3 different suppliers and a couple rehomed from @valleylynn. Has anyone noticed any reversions in their Citrus Sunrise? As a side note, the ones that you sent are doing great for me. Citrus Sunrise must like my growing conditions a lot.
