Plant collector for 30+ years
I have lost the ID for this plant. The new shoot is a foot tall which surprised me.

Sammy, Are there any spines along the leaf edges?
Neoregelia McWilliamsii is a large growing spineless Bromeliad that blushes red at flowering producing pups on stolons.

Thanks for the quick reply. The edges are completely smooth. Not the wicked saws of some bromeliads.
