Last night, I found my camera, so decided to take some slightly wet shots. First rain we've had this month, and it was more of a heavy mist than a rain. But at least it washed most of the bugs off my van.

Ring of Fire shocks the camera too much when I take a true-to-color picture. So here's a washed out version that's clear.


So here's the shocked version. True-to-color. I'll try to get a clearer shot tonight when I get home.


Going through the minis, here's Rise 'n' Shine. Nice one from John's Miniatures.


Camera didn't want to do a closeup of Vista, but this color is to die for.


Where my aspen used to be I made that into a birdbath area. I surrounded the bird bath with, yup, you guessed it, blue roses. Wow, what a concept, huh. Here's Angel Face.


Around the other side is Singing the Blues. I need to transplant this I think to where I misplanted Sheila's Perfume.


Closeup of the one bloom that's nodding down. True to color.


Dolly Parton is giving me another rose.. She's awfully stingy with her blooms. I may move her to a different spot & put someone more giving there. Bad closeup.


Sonia fully opened up while I was at work. So here's a double bloom.


Julia Child.. yummy as always. Looking at this rose I can almost hear her talking about using real butter and rum..

As I had mentioned in a different thread, Perfume Tiger is going strong.


Kordes Perfecta is a gorgeous blossom.. it really is.


But, that (IMO) pales compared to a perfect Paradise. I just hope that it opens to all it's promise.


And, of course, Mardi Gras just goes on like the party it is!


I know that these are not roses, but my Purple New England Asters that I got at Home Depot for $2.50/pot (5 pots.. miscounted) are doing wonderful! :)


Heading into the back yard, only thing on the east side blossoming right now is the pond area. South side of the ponds.


North side of the ponds. The honey suckle here took a major beating, as did the delphiniums.


One of the Sterling Silvers has a perfect start.


And one of the Stainless Steels is fading fast into oblivion.


Now to the West Side of the house. This is what it used to look like when we bought the house. This is looking northbound towards the garage door.


And this is what that area looks like now. This is looking south from that door in the above picture.


This is where my Outta the Blue, Pure Perfume, and others are at. Right now, all that's blooming is Wildfire. Here's a true-to-color picture. Wow!

I had to take some more pictures this morning. The sun was unclouded and I got some pretty nice shots I think.

I think that this is Tequila Sunset. I know it's Tequila something or another.


Perfume Tiger. Yum!


Montezuma is a gorgeous rose. He's survived my incompetence, being froze, then being squished by a falling tree. And is STILL giving me blossoms!


Purple Heart is starting up again. Not as purple as I was hoping, but still beautiful!


Joseph's Coat is just so interesting on how it changes constantly!


And here's a decent Dolly Parton.


Paradise DID live up to it's promise of beauty.


I took a couple of good pictures of Vista last night. And then again this morning. I love this rose.
