For me it's Honeymoon. It's finally caught up with and passed Anastasia [little over 6']. It's looks a little over 7', has a nice fragrance but not as strong as Conca D'Or although blooms are bigger and face more outward. It's at least 3 years old. Anyone tops this?

My biggest lily was 'Friso' (around 210 cm). The biggest I saw? L. sulphureum from one guy in Netherland...more than 300 cm.

Had to calculate cm to feet. 300cm is almost 10'! That's hugh. You could climb that thing. I'm a big fan of tree lily's, size, fragrance, big colorful blooms, ease of care their hard to beat. I'm talking myself into another order from Breck's.

That 'Friso' must have been well fed and happy!

I plant my lilies in very nice soil but I never fertilize them after. I had more than 10 'Friso' and they reached 190 cm in their 3rd year. Funny thing: that 210 cm one is the only lily I ever had in these 6y that was taller than me. Sticking tongue out

I have a tie for my tallest lilies. This Miss Libby topped at about 8 feet. The white lilies on the lower left are about 4 feet tall (my first lily seedlings from the late 1990s, I'm sentimental).

This 'Awesome' seedling has maxed at 8 feet tall each year since I acquired it, 4 or so years ago. The fence is 6 feet tall. I wanted to do some pollinations on it but there was no room to set up a step ladder. I hope to plan better next year.

Happy to hear you are safe from fires Connie. It's all continually alarming and overwhelming.
It looks like you've got some survivors from your heat spell too. Those look nice, strong and very floriferous.

Actually, Miss Libby photo is from 2019. It came up like that each year until last year when it divided into two somewhat shorter ones. This year it did NOT do well in the heat and is on my "burn" list along with Rising Moon, Northern Fire and Feya for starters. Others only received leaf burn to a greater or lesser extent.

On my heat resistant list I have Make Peace, Tropical Isle and its seedlings as well as similar foliage trumpets such as Golden Scepter and Gold Class. Eastern Moon did well too and kept its color when many others didn't. Many OTs had burnt foliage to one extent or another. Make Peace kept its expected color too.

Most of the Awesome seedlings did ok with some leaf burn but bloom was down. This is a photo of the Awesome seedling patch and an outlier. I guess it didn't have the burn-resistant gene...

Couple years ago, I had stems of LF-1 get to over 10 feet tall.

Never heard of LF1. Could you elaborate? Any pics? Is it available anywhere?

LF-1 AKA Bellingham Star. Bred by LeVerne Freimann. A limited number of bulbs was sold by B&D Lilies so it is not available as far as I know.

Glad to see your Bellingham Star. Actually, I just ordered one from B&D Lilies yesterday (never saw it on their list before) and then visited this site and saw your photo. Thank you for posting.
