Rudbeckias light up the garden, and add an
old fashioned charm. They seem to germinate
better in my lawn than when I sow them in
peat pots & seed starting mix. Rolling my eyes.
But they transplant well, and are worth going
through hoops for. Smiling

Here are a few in our garden this year...

What a beautiful banner! Hurray!

Unfortunately, Rudbeckias are very short -lived here or I would grow more of them. So Thank You! for sharing your photos, so I am able to enjoy yours instead! I tip my hat to you.
Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice!

Beautiful banner and pictures, Cal! I'll have to try some of these. Smiling I do have a yellow dwarf form, but would love to find something with the orange/red center markings. Beautiful!

Excellent banner and auxiliary photos. Rudbeckia hirtas are a garden staple around here, and always a welcome sight. Thumbs up

Thank you all for your kind comments, thumbs & acorns! Smiling

I hope everyone will find room for these classic beauties.
Just one plant will produce many flowers & hundreds
of seeds. Thumbs up
