Rudbeckia hirta

aka "Gloriosa daisy"

Great banner Cal!

Rudbeckias light up the garden, and add an
old fashioned charm. They seem to germinate
better in my lawn than when I sow them in
peat pots & seed starting mix.
But they transplant well, and are worth going
through hoops for.

Unfortunately, Rudbeckias are very short -lived here or I would grow more of them. So for sharing your photos, so I am able to enjoy yours instead!

Beautiful banner and pictures, Cal! I'll have to try some of these. I do have a yellow dwarf form, but would love to find something with the orange/red center markings. Beautiful!
