I agree, I don't think it's an Echinopsis. I would like to ask @mcvansoest to take a look before we move this to Cleistocactus, though.

For the sake of not getting in argument, I will go with I do not know, but I am not convinced that the fact that spines are yellow means it is not an Echinopsis.

Going by the normal stem in the back, it doesn't look like Echinopsis, regardless of the spine color, but I would defer to those more knowledgeable than myself. Let's find the best place for this picture. I looked at lots of pictures of "Flambeau" and found none with yellow spines (or reversions, even when I searched for them), so that's probably not what it is.

Identifying crested plants is often kind of tricky. Maybe the seller decided close enough would work. Whatever. If we can't agree on a genus, we can also move this image to the bin of unidentified plants, since we don't have a family entry for the cacti.

Kaktus, if you would like to really pin down the name of the plant, a close up picture of the stem in the back (in good light, with good focus) would be probably be helpful.

Stefan is probably correct that it is a crested cleistocactus, though there are other crested plants out there with yellow spines including Echinopsis - that was the intention of my point just the yellow spines is not enough of an argument to say it is not an Echinopsis.

Case in point:

But here I am getting in an argument despite not wanting to get in an argument.

So let me repeat: I do not know.
It is what it is!

Image moved to the unknown bin until we can better pin down the identity.

Ive not heard nor seen such plants blooming. Difficult to say when exactly do cleistocacti even bloom. People should really keep track of such stuff...
