My husband bought me a mini-rose.It is in a tiny pot in what looks like peat moss, dries out COMPLETELY daily & i have to water it.It is also very pot bound, there is one root coming out of the bottom that must be 3-4 inches.

The tag's instructions are well lit ~ water daily ~ hardy 50*F-80*F.

I have many house plants but i'm new to roses, that's an understatement i have a wild climbing rose outside i can't get to grow never the less bloom.

Thank you very much for any advice or opinions you can share with me Lovey dubby

A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!

Hi Jelinda, That's a pretty little Rose! I don't know much about Roses, miniature, standard or any other variety but I'd assume your little mini needs the same care as other roses. I'd re-pot it into a larger container with some good soil/compost, give it a few hours daily of bright light or sunshine.

Here's some info from the database that may help: Roses (Rosa)

I googled and found this info too: http://www.proplants.com/guide...
