Thread OP

I've had this alocasia for the last 3 years whilst at uni. It's grown a lot since then and the biggest leaves are starting to collapse under their own weight. Is there any way I can support them/prop them up or should I just leave them to snap on their own?

Thanks!

It looks like a Regal Shields. That is their growth habit. They kind of spread out.

I agree, it looks like Elephant's Ear (Alocasia 'Regal Shields') and the growth habit looks normal.
