In the middle of the nightmare house buying from hell, so I'm hopeful to start listing mine this week. I need a distraction right now.

I finally finished most of the "A" box and all of the "B" box. 'Tried to finish the pepper box but managed to tip my sticky drink onto the laptop keyboard A bit of a setback to be sure!

I'm almost done packing what I've already listed (note to self: pack FIRST, then list), but keep finding things to add. I'm determined to thin out my collection. One person shouldn't have this many seeds.

Somebody stop me!!

Oh goodness. I was just thinking after we all post our 100 seeds - of which so far I have done 0, Maybe we can offer trades up to newbies that need seeds! Cause I certainly don't need to get back even a fraction of what I'm offering. Will that stop me though?

Whoa! The overnight seedsplosion is going to blow up my wish list, lol. So many new veggies and choice new flowers.

I received Karen's seeds for this swap. I have not had any feedback about how to distribute them, so I will list them in a dedicated thread and offer them up to be chosen one per day per player until they are gone. I have medical atrocities scheduled for today and tomorrow that will keep me away from home and prevent me from listing them today, but I plan to list them, and the rules for picking, on Friday. I want to list a few more myself too. Where did the time go?

Would anyone be interested in juniper seeds or sweet gum tree seeds. I have never harvested but have found trees today on my property. Didn't knownif it would be worth my time to collect them.

@stitchwitch okay! I'll look more into the best way to harvest and store. They are new to me and I am unsure of what kind it may be. But I can add some photos later. Didn't want to go through the trouble and add them since I know nothing about them. I'll note it and send some your way.

FYI The burned ash of Juniper trees is used by native americans for cooking. When it is added to corn meal the biochemical reaction when mixed is to create calcium. One piece of cornbread made with the ash has more calcium than 5 glasses of milk.

Interesting!!! I never knew that. I don't know much about trees. We are in the process of learning. We have 10 acres now so my husband and I have been working on IDing them. I never even noticed the juniper but my daughter pointed out the berries and we looked into what it was.

I will have to double check the tree but I am almost certain its an Eastern red cedar or Juniperus virginiana. Here is a great article from @wildflowers from a few years ago.

Now I want to propagate and line my drive with this wonderful tree.

Just finished collecting the last of my seeds from my lilies before we had a hailstorm this afternoon! Haven't had one of those in years!

@joa922010 would you be interested in washingtonia filibrusta palm tree seeds? I got a pacck in an international seed swap and I will not be planting them. I'll throw them in as extra if you would like to try thrm.

I think everyone should go and check their listed seeds after entering them into the swap.

I just looked to see what everyone is adding and I see that I added in spider flower blush like 5 times! I just went to my list to see why there are 5 seperate offers and I only have 1 checked off.

Is anyone else having this issue?

My list seems to be okay. I think that has happened to me in the past but I don't know what caused it.

I have never heard of those! It says they are a zone 8 and up? How do you grow them? I am in zone 6 as well. Do you keep it as a house plant or overwinter it inside? I would love to give them a try if it's possible to grow them here and let them thrive.

@joa922010, I didnt grow them because they have to be brought inside for the winter. I'll add them to your package. If you dont want to grow them, throw them away

@ishareflowers Thanks Lisa for the heads up. I did check my list and I am pretty sure it was my mistake but I had 3 glass gem corn entries one with 3 packs available which would have been a problem since I don't have that many left. Other than that everything else was fine.
