I immediately recognized the poppy seed heads, but have not seen double form poppies before. Always happy to see and learn new things. Thumbs up

This double pink poppy came to me as seeds as a free gift with a plant order several years ago. I don't recall the cultivar name. It produces lots of seeds each year and new seedlings pop up each spring. I usually let a few plants completely ripen, but most I pull once the flower show is over since the plants dry up and are unattractive.

If I can, you can. Thumbs up
You're just up the road from us.
I saw them at the ("new") Getty Museum garden 20 yrs ago.....6ft tall.
They come in several colors. Also called peony poppies.

I've never done anything special.....just mix with some soil & sprinkle around in the fall. Smiling .
