Things to look for that might suggest Silver Cloud....
the petiole has white striations
The ruffled edges of the petiole end about halfway down then its smooth
The leaf is cordite (heart shaped) and has a very quilted appearance
The secondary and tertiary veins are sunken toward the margins of the leaf
The silver variegation is highly variable

My plants do not necessarily look like the ones being sold as the same thing now. A well known hybridizer from SO FL commented once recently that the older versions looked different from many of the newer ones (especially plants like A. clarinervium, A. crystallinum, A. magnificum and some these Philodendrons) because they were not 'watered down'. Many of these plants have been hybridized, either on purpose or accidentally, and many plants are sold as one (pure) thing when they are not.
These are my P. plowmanii and P. mamei from the earlier period.
