It's not a daylily Arif, it's a lilium. Thumbs up

Could you tell me the growing conditions required please. Next hunt lilium then. Glad not a Daylily , nothing against them as such but in a tiny garden they are pretty invasive.
Regards,
Arif.

Only some species daylilies can be invasive, not the hybrids. I have about 100 daylilies, not one of them is invasive.

Lilies like well drained soil, full sun. Many of mine are in large pots on my deck and patio, when they are done blooming, they get moved off the patio.
Here is the database for liliums, lots of lovely photos

I have 10 feet by 8 feet garden, 80 sq feet. Had them in the ground but the clumps were becoming over large. I will try them in pots now. Thank you for the suggestion I tip my hat to you. .

Arif.

I was talking about the lilies (lilium) being in pots Arif, not the daylilies. I don't know how those invasive ones would do, I guess they can be potted and divided once they fill the pot. Thumbs up

Thumbs up or gifted out. I will end up on the road while my plants take over my house.
