I've had this bulb for years and have only seen a bloom twice. The foliage always looks pretty good, but although I water them whenever I pass by with the hose, it's/they're clearly not happy enough to bloom. I saw a BUNCH of these while kayaking through north-central FL at the end of May, growing right in the water and a little bit along the edges. If someone wants to pay the postage, or if you have something I "need" in trade, I'll be happy to dig them up and ship them to your more moist location.
I'm guessing there are a few offsets with the original mama bulb by now, moved to the current location in spring, 2014. I am sorry, I don't know the species. Ironically, they were discovered in the "lawn" at my last house during a drought. The only greenery in a patch of brown, so I dug and found a bulb. That was ...2012?
