I switched on my desk lamp last night and was pretty well stunned when I noticed...
the Yellow Orb Weaver clinging to the light............
as though he had tried spinning a web... and was taking a break....................................



I was able to get him into a jelly jar long enough to take him outside and release him.
This morning I'm still in awe of what he did.

Oh dear, she definitely took a wrong turn! As much as I love most insects and spiders, when an unexpected encounter like that happens to me, I'm always surprised at how I instinctively yelp and jump back.
