As predicted, the top bifurcated. Wish my camera would capture how purple this plant is.

Instead of starting a new seedling discussion, I'm tagging onto the most recent discussion in Coleus forum.

This seedling sprouted last year and managed to survive winter (roots only), in a hole in the bottom of this tree.

Who has some interesting seedlings lately?

Thanks, it was a nice surprise! That tree is coming down in the near future. I'll take cuttings of that Coleus.

Any I plant in the garden here.. seems to get eaten by something.. been keeping them on my deck rail now .. we just had some tree work done .. always hurts the wallet
