I've been wondering why we can't make updates to what we posted on the recommendations.

You should be able to edit your reviews that you post.

As far as the information about a company, that's a little different.

I was trying to update my review, but I couldn't and/or didn't know how.

Click on the recommendation in question to view it. For me, the edit button appears at the end, on the lower left of the screen.
