Oops missed the neighbor boy question. He dropped his classes here and in June is going to El Paso to take

How exciting, is this your first big planting since living at your place? (you seem new to semps, that's why I'm asking)

I had about 20-30 by last fall, don't know how many have survived, so yes I am still new to the whole thing.

Prior to being introduced to Semps by my SIL I did annuals every year, shade plants and simply

replaced them the following spring. If they lived OK if not OK. But I want to have some plants that live

for more than a year at the time. AND SEMPs have become a bit of an addiction

Nice video, I have seen some type of heated wire being used and also something more like a wire cheese knife. They work pretty well but not as good as the hot wire type.
