Did you find something on the Internet that you think NGA members would like to see, but it's not your original idea?

Pop over to this new thread to share it!

@joannakat, thanks for starting up this new thread. I see so many clever ideas around the net this now gives us a SPECIFIC place to share them here at NGA.

Maybe with one possible caveat - there are a lot of "gardening ideas" on the net that are really not very good.

Knowing NGA members, I'm sure at least one person will point that out in a reply, and probably explain why as well! Thumbs up

nature keeps amazing me
Nothing irked me more than losing hand tools. Id have that trowel in my hand one minute and the next minute it was gone. Grumbling replacing good tools got expensive and frustrating. one afternoon while I was cleaning the basement I found a roll of weather proof bright red Christmas ribbon. Aha! I tied a decent length to each tool and my spade. I have yet to misplace anything in the garden. the color hasn't faded and I can see it from a distance. And it was free. Smiling

the original idea was mine , some one gave it a new title , note I said masked bandits and even had a photo .
Pepper works for me here to keep raccoons out of my pots . We share our property with many critters and in the spring the mom raccoons bring their babies and teach them to dig in the soft soil of my pots .(50 some pots)
Raccoons have sensitive paws and noses and pepper quickly sends them digging elsewhere. It has been successful for me for 20+ years.

sometimes people respond without fully reading , still it gives way to some very good discussion Smiling Thumbs up even if a bit off topic.
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.
