I'm hoping my semps will grow well so I can try every possible way of growing them -- frames, containers, in-ground... Hey, maybe the ones with really long stolons could grow in a little hanging basket? LOL
Jill, your motto: "We are all learners, ..." says it all. Even when things don't go right, we learn from it. So as your semps are trying to grow well for you , and as you try different methods of presenting them, it is a path of learning and that can be most enjoyable. The times I have had to undo a frame because it didn't work out just gave me the opportunity to plan for its next planting which I found to be the most fun step to do.
