I purchased a beautiful, full staghorn fern today. Unfortunately, somehow during the transit to home, one of the fronds broke off. I am hoping to somehow save and propagate it but I don't know the best method. Can I root it in water or should I stick it back onto the soil? It has very few roots. Any advice is most appreciated.
