@dirtdorphins This photo captures everything I love about daylilies. A beautiful bloom in a field of blooms which stands on its own for its spectacular form and colors. You have captured it so well! Please tell me, what is this daylily? I want to add one to my garden. Thanks.

Thank you Lori!
This is Indian Giver, a favorite of mine that struggled too long in the place where I wanted it. I moved it out to the parking strip garden where it literally bakes and it's happy now with Gaillardia and California Poppies. This photo was just as the sun dipped behind smoke clouds on a brutal hot summer's eve. Fall re-bloom was more purple in cooler weather.

Your image is stunning. I encourage you to add it to the plants database because it is a very unique perspective on that daylily. I chuckled as I read "literally bakes" and "brutal hot summer's eve". That certainly sounds like my Georgia garden. Thanks for sharing!
