@Seedfork Your photo of Green Volcano daylily is outstanding. So much so, that it sent me searching the internet for one. Most of the photos from sellers are not as nice as your photo. From which seller did you get your Green Volcano?

I have added Floyd Cove to my bookmarks to check back on. In their description of Green Volcano, they say, "4-5way branching (needs cold)." Since you are in 8b, you get less cold than I do in 7b. Did you see any impact to this daylily by your lack of cold?

I actually did not pay much attention to the branching this first year, but the rebloom was amazing. It seemed like every time I looked at the plant it was blooming again. I thought it was an outstanding performer in my garden. I wonder how Guy Pierce determined it needed cold for good branching, that sounds odd. Almost always branching and bud count goes down with the drop in temperature.

I like the sounds of "rebloom was amazing". Green Volcano is definitely on my "need to get" list.
