@lauriemorningglory Your photo of the Tulips Taco is so inspiring. That is how I want my garden to look - rock bordered raised beds bursting with color. Is this your garden? If so, well done! If a public garden, please share the name so that one day I can visit. As for he tulips, do you know if they rebloom each year, or are they just annuals? You should consider posting this photo to the plant database for Tulip Taco - it is really a good photo.

Thank you so much for the comments, Lori. I'm glad you like the photo! Smiling This is my garden, and these tulips have been returning for me for a few years now; in fact they have multiplied. My kind of tulip!!
I do plan to post my photos in the database. I'm not sure if I can do it directly from the contest page or if I have to upload the image from my computer.
I enjoyed the photo contest. It was fun to submit photos and to see and judge all of the beautiful pictures entered by others. You had a number of lovely entries! Smiling

Laurie, thanks for the info (and the kind words). I see that you are in Nebraska, so now I understand the multiplying tulips. That seems a reasonable spring treat which you deserve after the Nebraska winter!

Lori, thanks for the acorn! (and thank you to all who gave a thumbs up!).

You might want to try these tulips. I've read that this particular species, Tulipa clusiana, does well in the south and will even return, at least for a few years. There are several cultivars of this species besides Taco: Lady Jane, Cynthia, Tinka, etc. You might want to try a few and see how they do. Smiling
