Thread OP

Hello,
I've had this monstera for a month or so now and I unpotted it a few weeks ago because I thought it had root rot (it didn't) and I actually forgot to water it after putting it back in the soil, I came back from a recent trip and came back to see the bottom of the new leaf was yellowing! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I can't tell if this is because of lack of light, damage from air pockets from forgetting to compact the soil with water immediately, or if this is possibly rotting for real now! ANYTHING helps I really don't want to lose this plant! Thank you!
