I just came across a Silver Squill plant that's not doing well, and I'd like to try to revive it. The bulbs and leaves look pretty good. It has essentially no roots but some are trying to sprout from the bottom of the bulbs. It's in rich potting soil, stays fairly wet, and is in a pot that drains slowly. It's in a warm, bright greenhouse where I volunteer weekly. Sorry, I neglected to get a picture but can add one next week.
Any suggestions? Soil, light, water? Should it be retired to a Winter rest for awhile?
Thank you! I appreciate your expertise.
