It got to 1 with a wind chill of -15 to -20. I wrapped my two rosemaries instead of bringing them inside and I think I lost them. One was 18, the other 7. 😢

Oh, Lynda - that's a bummer about the rosemary plants; I've never even considered they could get that old! If mine get to 18 months it's more or less a miracle - I start new plants from seed every year.

Winter is definitely a killer. I'm so sorry to hear that. My cabbage was tortured to death to. Lost my ornamental cabbages as well as my onion greens, pansies and radishes.

Don't give up on the onions, Anne - even here I can plant onions in the late summer, leave the plants in the ground over the winter, and harvest decent onions in the spring.
