This rose is a classic and probably VERY old gallica. It has the same foliage, stature and prickles as both Rosa mundi (versicolor) and R. gallica officinalis. It is a medium pink and when looked at closely has the appearance of water silk.

I'd call her Alice. (I have no idea, but it's a favorite color and unusual petal form. Hope the experts can help.)
