I agree with Laurie on both counts. Excellent banner, but of a zinnia rather than a dahlia. I also agree with you about the appeal of these blooms to pollinators, and humans who love pollinators. Thumbs up

A pop of bold color is just the thing I needed today in my cold and wintery world - thanks @Zoia! Sweetly reminiscent of my garden in July, either 'violet queen' or 'purple prince' zinnia. I admire how the yellow stamens are centered and a perfect match to the yellow NGA banner's background. Well done!

Yes, Zinnia! Absolutely! Sorry, not my garden so I got confused on the flower. Great color though!
