What a wonderful photo of the pink flowes, I was wondering, do you know what plant is in the front with the white pom-poms? I'm sure it must be a wonderful combo of plants. So many fuzzies and flowers.
I got this one from edelweiss nursery here in Oregon. It lasted for two or three years before it finally just died out.
It bloomed every year, I need to learn more about how to grow them from seed.

Unless I've led myself into mentally storing some wrong information, (which is always possible,) alpine plants are unlikely to accept high temps, lots of humidity, &/or low elevations (higher levels of oxygen). Because I can't control those factors and all three are present at my location, I usually avoid plants described as alpine.
Can anyone hear the word Edelweiss w/o thinking of The Sound of Music?

My MIL is German and has not had success growing it either. But, at least yours bloom!
