Excellent garden view, with the allium the star of the show.

The three alliums seem to stand guard protecting the delicate rose territory. A stately banner.

Nice contrast of color & form. Which rose is that? A David Austin?

Thank you all!
The alliums were a new addition for me last year--really impressive with how huge they were.

It's actually two roses there Cal--one Austin, Lady of Shalott, and a Kordes, Soul Sister

I just planted some giant globe alliums this year for the first time. Really looking forward to seeing how they do! I have them near my New Dawn rose, that should be pretty. I so love the David Austens but I have given up on roses in my yard, except for New Dawn, which is unkillable.

Now I get all mine in the grocery store. Green Grin!

I love the Alliums and was taken with the foliage and bloom on A. karataviense. And I found out it is too hot here also. So now I just admire from afar. Whistling

Thank you!
Actually, they don't mind the dry heat of a desert summer (it's too hot where I am too)--it's more the lack of a winter chill that does them in.

Impressive alliums! Rich color, perfectly round, and nicely composed. I hope they continue to do well for you.
