Thank you all. I do not know for sure which species it is but it is very common in NC. They are very attracted to my lantana, but this one was floating over my Louisiana Iris bed. It had just taken off from a very slender leaf tip.

Just did a quick look up. It is probably a Pearl Crescent. They also like moist soil so the LA bed would makes sense. But it does have the white border of a silver bordered Fritillary which also has those striped antennae. And also like wetlands. Guess I will have to capture a pic of the other side of the wing to find out for sure.
