The temperature can sometimes drop below -5c, that's why I was asking about the containers. I did find a peach tree seedling that sprouted this year, its growing in a bad spot so I'll probably move it. I found a average climate data for my area through the Weather Channel. It's been three years since my last post. After a couple of bad hailstorms, my garden plants are recovering. Please pardon the grass and weeds, and the plastic tarp on the side of my house
Oh no it was two hail storms this year. One on the 30th that punched holes in the siding and flattened all of the plants in the flower bed. We also had one last month that mainly caused damage to the plants. I'm trying to find someone to repair the siding and roof. I almost took a break from gardening this year because everything kept getting destroyed. In just thankful it wasn't worse.

I'm so sorry for your trouble. It got a little scary right here in Surf City USA this winter with temps down a tad under 35* - that's not supposed to happen. Climate change, anyone?
Can't complain too loud about how the ball bounces when I'm the one who dropped it.
Oh wow and I'm looking at your USDA zone. I bet that was a shock to both people and plants? The weather has been so extreme this year. The hail did $5000 worth of damage to our car.
