I have to agree with Allison. When I see them forming flowers in stores I pinch them off. I can't take being witness to a death sentence.

I thought I was the only one dead heading plants in the store. I cannot help it I have to pinch the flowers off coleus. There was a bunch around the hospital I was visiting a patient and I could not get in the car until I cleaned them up. Rolling on the floor laughing

It's a passion! I don't like seeing plants neglected in stores but I've never run for the hose to give them a drink, but the sight of a coleus in flower is totally distracting and I can't leave until the job is done.

I have enough OCD without tending to plants in stores. HD has to be the worst with watering. Anything and everything they have outdoors should be free for the taking.

Lowe's is my favorite big store. I've Emailed management to compliment them on their workers and how pleasant and helpful they are and even called the store manager, figuring he could use a word of praise, since so many people only call to complain.

At Lowe's they help load the car, manage to get huge things to fit in the trunk, walk you over to the Preen (or whatever else you need). We've had HD out here or 19 years and I don't know the name of any employee. At Lowe's there's Cindy, Peter and Monica in the garden department! Lowe's has only been out here for 2 years.
