Mister Butters is such a reliable performer in northern Illinois. Good-looking foliage, reliable instant rebloom, and pretty flower. In 2014 both plants put up two more scapes for a third bloom. So happy I purchased this daylily.

@Pattyw5 Your comment is one of several I've seen that have put Mister Butters at the top of my list for daylilies to enjoy in my garden, and also for a reblooming yellow tetraploid hybridizing project I'm starting.

Apparently because it is in fact wonderful, it's very difficult to find! Sold out, sold out. Do you sell plants? Or do you know anyone who might have it available?

Thanks for any help from you or anyone who sees this.

@admmad Thank you Maurice! 🙏🏻You are always willing to be helpful.

I was looking for a source this spring so I could begin my yellow tet project this summer.

Oakhill is not shipping til fall otherwise I would be glad to order and I still might, to get extra stock.

I have found a source for a DF of Mister Butters this spring 👍🏻 The grower does not have much so I won't mention. I found him by asking Judy Davisson. She hybridized Mister Butters. She is so low on everything that she is not shipping this spring.

Cottage Gardens has an impressive list! I will be looking to see what else they may have. And maybe get Mr B too. From everything I've read it's a wonderful garden flower.
