Mid summer in the midst of yet another hot spell and I noticed this off season bloom out today.
Can't read the tag clearly but I think it could be Tassel x nat.
No world beating bloom but most welcome off season!.

Always good to have a new member posting blooms.
Don't know what your No id is but it isn't Letty May, which has variously colored blooms but is a different shape.
Yours is an early one like Ackermanii.

This is Jack from northen California.
My Ackermanii bloomed January. It was supposed to be red but was bleached by the sun. It has 300+buds now. The last picture of hookeri is from last season.

Well Jack 300+ buds is a pretty good result!
I know Ackermanii is a prolific grower and bloomer but that is an outstanding effort.
Unusual for the blooms to be that pinkish color.
Looking at the foliage I think it must be getting a lot of direct sun. Maybe some shade cloth would be a good idea and some fertilizer with nitrogen to green it up a bit!

Yes,it was getting too much sun from November to February since I removed the shading net. I put the net back two weeks ago. I will put some fertilizer.
Thank you Steve.

Here are a couple of blooms open today to start the Epi season here -
I lost the name on the pink one, but bought the crazy colored one years ago as Letty May.

Yes Ursula that one is Letty may.
It always develops that 'colour break' that is no doubt the Potex virus but how crazy attractive it is!
I have had a few plants of it for years and it blooms different every year.
Your pink...possibly Agatha.

This one opened towards the house wall - it always opens in the evening, but stays open during the day
