This was a recent purchase and looked amazing at the store (which of course I live in the middle of nowhere so 3 hours away from said store, unable to return).
Leaves are turning kind of yellow with brown spots and wilting/curling.

Was it exposed to extreme cold when you brought it home? Cold is the only thing I could think of to bring on such a sudden and dramatic change, short of watering it with bleach by mistake.

What was the temperature during that 3-hour drive, and was the plant in your passenger area or the trunk? If the passenger area, did it receive direct sunlight through the window?

Assuming you haven't sprayed or drenched it with something toxic since you got it home, I suspect temperature-related damage.

If it looked good in the store I'm hopping on the frost-bite train.

Good chance for recovery but be patient.

What's worked well for me:

Don't give it any direct or even strong indirect light for now.
Let it recover.

Don't re-pot, don't fertilize.

Leave the damaged leaves for now. They're compromised but still function at a reduced level. Hopefully you'll see some new and healthier growth eventually and can trim back the damaged leaves as they start sapping more energy than they provide.

I left a great 3 stem dracena out overnight in a cold snap years ago.
Stem went south slowly, got mushy, and basically dissolved.

Gave up on the plant but set it aside care-wise instead of just tossing it.

About 6 weeks later I saw 2 clusters, 3 stems each, coming from way down in the roots.
Ended up with a 6 stem dracena.
Don't lose faith in the tenaciousness of these guys.

Hi Ecoffman850,

How's the plant doing, any updates?

How're the younger leaves?
They didn't look as bad as the rest.
