I meant the comment box for the article you sent. ( I figured he'd be checking in to see his work in use ) I haven't found the artist Marks site. I'll bet if you ask Debra she'll tell you.

Great idea thanks.
My only problem with succulent containers is the composition looks great when plants are young. They outgrow the container in a year and then I start all over again.

Wow, those are beautiful Jo Ann. Thanks for the link. She does such a wonderful work of placing plant with container, for the optimal appeal.

Thanks for the link JoAnn! She lives in southern CA so she doesn't need a greenhouse! Its the place where you add soil, water and whatever and it'll grow! nodding I tip my hat to you.

She is an amazing plant person. And yes, things really do grow well in Southern California.
Well many do, so need a winter rest, so wouldn't do well that far south.

Plant care for desert plants is difficult for me.I do like the shapes and colors.I plan on just investing in all year round outdoor sempervivums.
I had a nice plot in the garden but kritters ate them or up rooted them. Its a sign for me to avoide putting them in bare ground. The clay bowl I have planted continues to grow well.
I will look for allweather containers for semps in the garden.

webesemps said:Ive, hope you got out of the funk. Gotta ask you about your multilayered pot. I have never seen one like that. I thought it was a strawberry pot at first but it looks more like an apartment building, you know, like separate dwellings... Hilarious!
Anyway, can I ask where you got it? Please don't name a foreign country...OK, if you have to...

Hello everybody... it's been AGES since I've posted and it's kind of sad that I didn't see this post before today. But just in case, if you're still wondering where I got this clay multipot:

Thumb of 2014-05-15/MamaIve12/6fae27

This came from one of my favorite nurseries in my area- Tropical Touch Garden Center in Southwest Ranches, FL.

I still have it, and it has held up beautifully. ;)

Lynn, any chance of closing this last year's suc container thread so that the 2014 suc container can be used? Gonna be hard to look for a post when both years are still active... Rolling my eyes.
