I meant the comment box for the article you sent. ( I figured he'd be checking in to see his work in use ) I haven't found the artist Marks site. I'll bet if you ask Debra she'll tell you.

My only problem with succulent containers is the composition looks great when plants are young.They outgrow the container in a year and then I start all over again.

Thanks for the link JoAnn! She lives in southern CA so she doesn't need a greenhouse! Its the place where you add soil, water and whatever and it'll grow!

She is an amazing plant person. And yes, things really do grow well in Southern California.
Well many do, so need a winter rest, so wouldn't do well that far south.

Plant care for desert plants is difficult for me.I do like the shapes and colors.I plan on just investing in all year round outdoor sempervivums.
I had a nice plot in the garden but kritters ate them or up rooted them.Its a sign for me to avoide putting them in bare ground.The clay bowl I have planted continues to grow well.
I will look for allweather containers for semps in the garden.

This came from one of my favorite nurseries in my area- Tropical Touch Garden Center in Southwest Ranches, FL.

I still have it, and it has held up beautifully. ;)

It jarred what's left of my memory of last year and gotta admit, still never seen one like it...What a find!
