I received a package yesterday, but didn't get to open it yet... full blown sap/syrup season, busy at work, and prepping for a coop build, so I've been a tad busy... ;)

My package arrived yesterday & I just got to open & look through it--just like a kid at Christmas!

Thanks Jess and everyone for making my first swap here so much fun...now to get planting. Hope everyone's garden outperforms this season,

You call it hoarding, I call it "preserving the biodiversity of my food supply". That's my story & I'm sticking to it! & we're not gonna talk about the stupid amount of seeds in my stash. I've almost got it all back down into 3 storage totes, until I got this swap packet. Hey, my husband has his video games, I have my seeds. Seems fair.

My seeds came yesterday, and am attempting some new strategies for better success with them in the future. I had almost given up gardening, but for better or worse, am happy to still have the chance to try. Omg omg omg! Got my seeds two days ago and can't get stop looking through them all. Started planting but there's so much!!! That's such a good thing. Still winter sowing (since it was snowing all day today) and got a few tomato seeds indoors in soil blocks. I guess I'll have to stop calling it winter sowing and start calling it what it is-spring sowing. But seriously, folks, this is amazing! Thanks so very much to Jess and to all of you who were so warm and welcoming. So generous, love all the extras.

I'm ready for work. Got my jugs prepped to fill with many of the seeds I 'won'. Thank you to my seed swappers and Starbucks.

I LOVE that milk crate idea... I havethe smaller ones in a cardboard box out in the garden area so they don't get blown over or away, but a milk crate is a fantastic idea!
