Seidai, first year flower is very small like 4 inches or 10 cm, next year it should produce larger flower.

Super gorgeous, Joshua and Socal! Love these tree peony forms! The colors are amazing! Can't wait to see more! Joshua, is 30 min enough? I would probably make several rounds a day to see them. Socal, that's a great progression of bud to full bloom of Shimadajin!

I hear you guys about yard trips during flowering time. By the time bloom season comes around, I have a "yard watch" situation, where I spend several intervals at what may have a goal of "I'll be back in 5 minutes, I just need to quick check something!" that everyone in my house knows, is the best laid plan, but seldom ends up that way, despite my honest and true best efforts. Minimum of 90 minutes, even on work days.
