I was in Home Depot a couple of days ago for other things but happened to see three big carts loaded with roses that I learned were to be thrown away. They won't discount them or give them away; they're just trash! How sad! Many of them looked pretty good to me; what a waste!

PPal - Company policy. You can dumpster dive, though.. most of the HD's here won't say anything. But they can't give/sell them because they've already gotten credit from the wholesaler.
Okay, now I'm really stumped. The first flush on the "Pinata" rose was almost white. Now the second flush has the colors of a Pedro Dot rose, but it's still not Pinata. The blooms are badly bug-damaged, but here's one of them.
I'm actually more confused than the rose or Home Depot. The tag says Picante. Not that this lets Home Depot off the hook, because Picante is even more orange than Pinata, but I've been calling it by the wrong name for a couple of months now. I already had Pinata (the real one) and I bought this "Picante" because it was something I didn't already have.

The two different strongly opposite colors are weird. You sure you didn't do like I did a while back, have a branch hanging over another rose and look at the wrong tag? Still, neither one is Picante or Pinata!

That's DEFINITELY not Picante. Picante is VERY VERY orange and has nice sized blooms. I love my Picante (got it as a bodybag myself from Lowes). I think the database has a few of my pictures on it.
That looks more like a slightly faded Mardi gras.. when Mardi starts to age. And I know they had those in bodybags this year. The 5 body bags I got this year suck royally.. all of them have NOT been good roses at all. I got 2 Sundowners (1 blossomed white like yours, the other actually blossomed orange), 2 BlueGirls (1 blossomed true, other hasn't blossomed & probably won't survive) and Dick Clark hasn't set a single bud at all.
It doesn't have enough petals to be Mardi Gras, and this bloom isn't faded yet. I actually liked the first flush more -- the one that looked like Lady of the Dawn, but with cupped blooms.
