At the grow store today I saw 50lb bags for 1/4 the cost per pound of what we buy for.

Considering re-bagging from bulk. You guys use them at all? They go by hydro-balls.


Hydro-balls, expanded clay pellets, leca... lots of names.

I use them but not for hydroponics. They work great as an ingredient in orchid mixes. Daughter tried them in her aquaponic system but they didn't work for her. They floated away. Now she uses lava rock.
